These terms govern your use of qyant.dev and the Qyant service ("Qyant", "the service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Qyant on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that company.
Please also read the Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data and forms part of these terms.
1. What Qyant is
Qyant turns descriptions into working full-stack applications. You describe what you want; Qyant generates code using third-party AI models, shows you every change to review, runs your app in an isolated preview, and can deploy it to a public URL or push it to your GitHub repository.
AI-generated output is probabilistic. It can be wrong, insecure, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing what you accept and for what you deploy.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, so tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised use.
- One person per account. Teams should use one account per member; we may introduce shared workspaces in future.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and will normally warn you first unless the violation is severe or ongoing.
3. Plans, credits and billing
- Free plan. Includes a limited monthly allowance of AI generation, previews and deployments as described on the Pricing page. Limits may change; we will publish changes there.
- Paid plans. Billed monthly or annually in advance through Paddle, our merchant of record, who issues invoices and handles tax. Prices exclude VAT and sales tax unless stated.
- Usage. AI generation is metered. Each plan includes a monthly allowance; when it is used up, generation pauses until the allowance resets or you upgrade. Unused allowance does not roll over.
- Changes. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep your plan's features until then.
- Refunds. Because AI usage incurs real costs to us as it happens, payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where we failed to provide the service. If something went wrong, write to support@qyant.dev and we will look at it fairly.
- Price changes. We will give at least 30 days' notice of price increases by email; they apply from your next billing period after the notice.
4. Your content and your apps
- You own what you make. Prompts, files you upload, and the code Qyant generates in your projects belong to you. To the extent AI-generated code is capable of being owned, we assign to you whatever rights we have in it.
- Licence to us. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, run, transmit and display your content solely to provide the service to you (for example, to send your prompt to a model provider, run your app in a preview, or push it to GitHub). This licence ends when you delete the content, subject to backup retention.
- No training. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we choose model providers whose terms do not permit training on API traffic.
- Open-source components. Generated apps use open-source packages under their own licences. You are responsible for complying with those licences in what you ship.
- Your users. If you deploy an app that collects data from other people, you are the controller of that data and responsible for your own privacy notice and legal compliance.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Qyant to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual-property and privacy rights;
- build or distribute malware, phishing pages, spam tooling, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful or sexually exploitative;
- attack, probe or overload Qyant, other users' sandboxes, or third-party systems, or attempt to escape the preview sandbox;
- mine cryptocurrency, run unrelated compute workloads, or resell raw compute or AI access;
- scrape or bulk-download the service, or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law permits;
- circumvent plan limits, share accounts, or use automated sign-ups.
We may remove content, stop a preview or deployment, or suspend an account to enforce this section, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
6. Previews, deployments and availability
- Previews are development environments: they stop after a period of inactivity, are not backed up beyond your project files, and must not be used for production traffic.
- Deployments are provided as a convenience for prototypes, internal tools and small production workloads. We publish our current status at /status. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime for free plans; service credits for paid plans, if any, are stated in your plan.
- We may set reasonable resource limits (memory, bandwidth, request rates, database size) on previews and deployments and change them with notice.
- We may perform maintenance and will try to schedule disruptive work outside busy hours and announce it in advance.
7. Third-party services
Qyant relies on model providers (via OpenRouter), Paddle, GitHub, Google and infrastructure providers. Their availability and terms are outside our control. Where you connect your own account with a third party (for example GitHub), that party's terms apply to your use of it.
8. Our intellectual property
The Qyant service, its software, design, brand and documentation are ours or our licensors'. These terms do not give you any right to them beyond using the service. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.
9. Beta features
Features marked beta, preview or experimental are provided as-is, may change or be withdrawn without notice, and may have reduced reliability. Do not rely on them for anything critical.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that generated code will be correct, secure or free of defects. You are responsible for testing and securing what you deploy.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qyant will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period, or USD 100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
If you use Qyant on behalf of a business, you will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your apps, or your breach of these terms.
13. Termination
You can stop using Qyant at any time and ask us to delete your account. We can terminate or suspend your access for breach of these terms, for prolonged inactivity on free accounts after notice, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your projects. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) do.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 14 days' notice by email or in the product. Continuing to use the service after the change takes effect means you accept the new terms; if you do not, stop using the service and ask us to close your account.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Qyant is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers keep any mandatory protections of their home country. Before going to court, contact us at support@qyant.dev — most issues can be sorted out in a few emails.
